Porsche Italia’s 40th Anniversary 911 & Taycan Are Dressed in a New Blue Coat by Ferragamo

In 2025, Porsche Italia celebrates 40 years of distributing the automaker’s vehicles, spare parts, and accessories to the Italian market. To celebrate the anniversary, it tapped Florentine luxury fashion house Ferragamo for help transforming two iconic models into beautiful blue rolling tributes.

New Blue Flavor

The limited-edition versions of the 911 Carrera 4 GTS and Taycan 4S are draped in “Blusogno,” a bespoke hue inspired directly from Ferragamo’s recent collections. But instead of overwhelming the design with flashy elements, Leonardo Ferragamo’s team embraced restraint. “Porsche is already perfect,” he noted during development, leading them to focus on sophisticated details rather than dramatic overhauls. That philosophy shows throughout both vehicles, from the hand-painted white pinstripes tracing airflow patterns on the hood and rear spoiler to the custom Paldao wood finished in matching Blusogno — a first for Porsche’s interior program.

For this creative exchange, teams traveled between Stuttgart and Florence, using actual leather and fabric samples from Ferragamo’s iconic Hug bag to develop the perfect Blusogno shade through Porsche’s Paint to Sample Plus program. Model names are hand-painted here in white with Blusogno edges. You’ll also get color-matched car covers with white piping and Blusogno-sided key fobs.

Italian Tricolor Details

Both models carry commemorative “40 Anni” plaques on their B-pillars, but the subtle touches are some of our favorite aspects of the release. The SportChrono clock features rings painted in Italian tricolor (green, white, and red) with a crimson second hand. Ferragamo logos illuminate the door sills while red Porsche crests provide striking contrast against the predominantly blue palette. Even the wheels receive the Blusogno paint with hand-applied white pinstripes and matching center caps.

Inside, both vehicles feature Blusogno-stained leather covering seats, steering wheel 12 o’clock markers, and gear levers in the 911. The Taycan’s expansive door panel wood gets split-toned treatment with blue upper sections and elegant black lower portions. Document cases and key holders arrive wrapped in matching Blusogno leather, while the compartment linings come with an optional red color.

Of course, these vehicles are still the same Porsches you know and love. The 911 Carrera 4 GTS retains its 473hp twin-turbo flat-six, while the Taycan 4S keeps its dual electric motors producing up to 590hp with overboost. The focus stays squarely on design refinement and cultural celebration.

Heritage Meets Exclusivity

Porsche Italia’s journey began in 1985, eventually becoming fully controlled by Porsche AG in 1996, eventually helping shape Porsche’s global identity in the time since. Today it represents the third-largest European market for the brand, delivering over 8,200 vehicles in 2024 alone.

Incredibly exclusive, these models will only be available in Italy, and in limited numbers. That geographic restriction might frustrate global collectors, but it reinforces the authentic connection between Porsche Italia and its home market.

While these vehicles are limited in edition size, Porsche hasn’t yet revealed exact production numbers or pricing for the 40th Anniversary editions of the 911 and Taycan, though they’ll likely see a significant increase over standard GTS and 4S models.
